Grimm Inventory Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 19, 2026

This policy explains what information Grimm Forge Studios collects through this website and through Grimm Inventory, and how it's used. We keep it to the minimum we need, and we never sell your information.

Information you give us

  • Waitlist: your email address, used only to tell you when the Plugin launches.
  • Support messages: your name, email, optional website and license key, and your message, used to answer you.
  • Questions & answers: your name and question are shown publicly once approved. Your email is never shown; it's only used to let you know about an answer.
  • Purchases: handled by our payment provider, which collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email, what you bought and a license key, but never your card details.

Information sent by the Plugin

When a license key is activated, checks in (about once a week) or looks for updates, your website sends us: the license key, your site's web address, the Plugin version and the WordPress version. We use this to verify licenses, deliver updates, and see which versions are in use. The request also includes your server's IP address, which we use briefly to prevent abuse. The Plugin does not send us your inventory, photos, customers or sales.

Analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as pages visited, device type and approximate location. You can block these cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on. We don't use advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

Waitlist emails are kept until launch announcements are done or you ask us to remove them. Support messages and license records are kept as long as needed to support your license and for our business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information at any time by emailing admin@grimmforgestudios.com. Unsubscribe links are included in any email we send about the Plugin.

Children

This website and the Plugin are meant for adults running a business and aren't directed at children under 13.

Changes and contact

We'll update this page if anything changes; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions? Email admin@grimmforgestudios.com.
